DESCRIPTIVE REPORT – STANDARD MODULE (10,0 X 2,8 meters)


  • Size: 10,00 m X 2,80 m;
  • Final Weight: approximately 7,500 kg (270 Kg/sq.m.);
  • Structure: metallic bended, welded and after fabrication hot dipped galvanized steel with 260 mm height, 6.3 mm thickness and 100 mm width, weighing 1.250 kg, in conformity with ASTM A36 and A570-C Norms;
  • Galvanization: hot dipped galvanized steel as ASTM A 123 and A 153 Norms;
  • Floor: reinforced concrete (4,500 MPA) of 100 mm, structural longerons with CA 50 positive bars and Telcon mesh (5.0 mm metal wires and 150 mm X 150 mm mesh);
  • Coupling screws: 4 units of 1” diameter X 12” width (ASTM A 325 and A 307 Norms), hexagonal nuts and lock nuts (ASTM A 294-2H), even and pressure washers;
  • Floaters: high density expanded polystyrene blocks with 16 cu.m. per module;
  • Floater revetments: textile vinyl compound with high mechanical and chemical resistance;

  • Mooring: it allows the mooring of small and medium size recreational boats;
  • Services: floor lights, hydraulic and electric plugs installation possibility without structural alteration;
  • Environmental: all utilized materials are environmental inert (environmental friendly) and/or recyclable, not causing any offense to the environment;
  • Stability: due to its characteristics of area, gravity center and weight of almost 7,5 tons, it has good inertia, making the product highly stable and even being useful as winds wave attenuators at protected and, in some cases at semi protected/sheltered areas;
  • Manufacturing Standards: in accordance with the Brazilian Association of Technical Norms – ABNT and with the complement of AISC, ASTM, ANSI and DIN Norms;
  • Warranty: 5 years against corrosion of metallic structure and floatation loss over 10%;
